Behaviour
The Governing body, staff and pupils are committed to creating a caring, friendly and safe environment which encourages and reinforces good behaviour and the fostering of positive attitudes.
We expect high standards of behaviour from all members of the school community. We acknowledge the vital role parents have to play in helping us to encourage the development of self-control and discipline. We aim to foster a happy, learning environment in which children and adults alike can:
- Work quietly and independently, respect the needs of other children.
- Respect the rights and possessions of others.
- Be polite and courteous towards adults and children within the school.
- Observe the conventions of speaking and listening within their level of understanding and maturity.
- React fairly with one another and be honest and truthful.
Management of behaviour is carried out through high expectations and positive responses to good behaviour.
